Medical records requests
Got a records request or a records invoice from us? TK Tech handles medical records for the practices we work with. Here is what it means and what to do.
You received a records request from TK Tech
We request medical records on behalf of the practices we work with, usually to complete a patient’s chart before or after a visit. The request names the practice, the patient and the signed authorization. Please send the records the way the request asks, and include its reference so they reach the right chart.
You received an invoice for records
When an attorney, insurer or other requester asks a practice we work with for copies, we prepare the records and invoice for them. Pay using the link on the invoice. Records are released once the invoice is paid, unless the request says otherwise.
Questions about a request or invoice
Email records@tktechnology.co with the patient’s name and the reference or invoice number. Records questions are handled by email only.
Patients
To get a copy of your own records, contact your doctor’s office and ask for a medical records release form. The practice will tell you how to sign it and how your records will be sent. We don’t take patient requests through this website.
